Lavrio the Rumble of Time

Lavrio is among the most ancient and significant mining sites in the Mediterranean and in Europe as a whole; the mines have determined its historical fate up to the present day. This photo album contains hundreds of rare photos since the Industrial Revolution and texts of great historical matter and depth in analysis.

This was a long lasting project which took about 1 year from start to finish. I was responsible for the design, page layout, photo retouching, choice of print materials and attending the printers.
